Description:

Lt. Col. Emrett W. Groomes (Retired Air Force and Tuskegee University graduate) purchased in 2006 the Titan T-51 Mustang (N5110) built in 2005 by Gene Swartz. The purpose was for Lee Owens to fly around the world in honor of Tuskegee Airmen. The plane had 45 miles logged prior to delivery. Subsequently, pilots have flown from Ohio (purchase location) to Mississippi, Mississippi to Ohio, Ohio to Phoenix (home base), Phoenix to California, California to Phoenix and Phoenix to Louisiana. It has less than 400 total hours. The plane was featured at the Luke AFB Air Show in March 2007, an Arizona State Capital Tuskegee Airmen award ceremony, a Phoenix Armed Forces Day parade, a fundraiser in California, and other local special events.

The plane was at Falcon Field’s Commemorative Air Force Museum for several years as part of a display to honor local, original Tuskegee Airmen.

Now there is an outstanding opportunity for a new investor to enjoy the history of this plane for only $84,995. The original Tuskegee Airmen allure will remain forever as Titan restores the T-51 Mustang to its original specifications.
